Warrior Creative Team Building Workshop

Warrior Creative Songcamp
A Corporate Team Building Workshop
Aim: bring teams together in small groups to write a song in two hours and perform it to the entire group.
Requirements: We may not all be musicians, but music is a common passion amongst most of humanity. No musical experience required; desire to do something new and not be afraid to go outside your comfort zone; 4 hours required, anyone budding musicians with instruments helpful but not necessary.
Objectives:
Outcome:
Although many will have never tried writing a song in their life and some will flourish more than others, the exercise of song writing asks all to make equal contributions to achieve a certain outcome in a short amount of time. All contributions are valuable and equal and the exercise illuminates how achieving the project as a team takes priority over personal objectives. Time constraints force the team to “pull together” to focus and complete the project as a unit, all done with a bit of fun and creativity.
Good or bad, the song will be celebrated at the end, not critiqued. It is the process of creating it that is the main focus of the exercise.

- Understand team dynamics and how passive and assertive characteristics can work together

- Overcome roadblocks in communication
- Take the team out of their comfort zone to achieve something new
- Build self esteem and confidence in the work place
